Stepping into the future
I have an old .01" feed systen. Will Xcelestep work with it?

Yes. The older .01 inch systems were usually set up with half or full step stepping motor drivers. If your system has only a full step input, the Xcelestep system will drive the motors at full step increments (internally selectable). The .001 inch data input switch will automatically be ignored.
If your system has a half step input on the stepping motor controllers - this is the usual configuration - the Xcelestep system will drive your motors at half step increments (internally selectable).
The .001 inch switch will work as follows:
If you select 0 to 4 thousandths the system will round down to 0 thousandths
If you select 5 to 9 thousandths the system will round down to 5 thousandths.

The net result is that you will now be able to get down to .005 inches on your old .01 inch system.
